You want to create a product based business and you have a vision for your product. The formula, the look and feel of it. The design and materials for your packaging.
But you feel pressure to launch quickly because there’s a current need for it and you don’t want to miss out on the opportunity. You don’t want to miss your window and you’re scared that if you take too long, perhaps your product won’t sell as well? Or maybe someone will beat you the finishing line.
I don’t think there is anyone than Amy Welsman that would know how this would feel. She had an idea for a hand sanitizer even before covid hit. She found that following having her baby, she became more aware of how germs can spread and wanted to keep her baby and family safe and healthy.
And then the world changed – completely. In what seems like a blink of an eye, COVID made it’s appearance into our lives. Hand sanitizers became an essential product and was in HIGH demand.
Could you imagine the pressure one may feel during this time working on the launch of their own hand sanitizer during a period of time like this? She could have cut corners, she could have gone with a formula that was already ready and put her name on it and she could have rushed to put out her product.
But she stayed true to her vision. She believed in her idea and what she was trying to create and stayed on course. And because of this, she has a product that is truly different than other hand sanitizers and is changing the game.
During this chat, we dive into her process creating her product, what she learned along the way, wins she experienced and so much more.
So grab yourself a cup of organic tea and get comfy, you are going to love hearing Amy’s story and advice!
