Having a healthy mindset is key to your success in life. But it is not something that comes easily – you need to put in the daily work to create and maintain a healthy mindset.
But how do you do this? My guests Chelsea Burwash, Owner of Project YOU and Meagan Ayres, Founder of Project YOU joined me to chat about their experiences coming into their own, gaining confidence, overcoming limiting beliefs and how they maintain a healthy mindset. It has not always been easy for them and just like everyone, they have experienced real struggles in life.
But they have not let those struggles or experiences take them off their path. They have learned from them and use them to grow and become better versions of themselves. But they also take the opportunity to pay it forward and have created a community where women can come together on a personal and business level and share their experiences and what they are dealing with so that they are able to get support and encouragement.
There were so many key takeaways from my chat with these lovely ladies. Here are just a few!
Be committed and consistent and always stay in action mode. If you are constantly forward focused on your goals and tasks, you will leave minimal time for that negative self-talk to creep in. It will limit the time you have to come down with comparisonitis.
While it is natural to sometimes compare yourself to others, it is important to always be self-aware and then ensure that you pull yourself out of it when you notice you are getting affected by it. Keep in mind, there is enough success and abundance in the world for EVERYONE. If someone is succeeding or accomplishing something you want, it does not take anything away from what you can accomplish or the success you can achieve.
Always push yourself to step outside of your comfort zone and be open to new opportunities. You never know what may come from those experiences or interactions and they will help you gain confidence in your abilities. A great example of this is from Chelsea and how she has come to take over Project YOU!
These are just a few of the many takeaways so I encourage you to tune in to hear more from Chelsea and Meagan! Grab yourself a cup of organic tea and get ready to be inspired but also motivated to take action in your life, stay true to yourself and create a healthy mindset that will lead you to success, personally and professionally!
