Trusting the process is not always an easy thing to do – especially when we are in such a rush to experience success.
Starting a blog is a journey, I feel one that is also a self discovery journey. You learn a lot about yourself during the process and what you truly want. It challenges you, pushes you outside your comfort zone and also helps you develop a whole new set of skills that will help take your business to the next level.
Often, however, we start comparison ourselves to others. We start questioning ourselves and why we aren’t gaining as much traction them. And if we go to far down the social media rabbit hole, we can chance losing ourselves and what we truly want to share and do with our business as we let what others are doing influence our journey.
Today, on LOVE Unplugged, my guest Sydney Socias of The Working Girl shares her own personal journey to creating her successful blog. She learned that you have to trust the process and follow your own path.
She started her blog as a school project, but still felt a pull to continue it following completing school. At the start, she wasn’t sure exactly what it would result in or exactly what she was going to share, but that didn’t stop her.
With the support of her loved ones, she followed her intuition and trusted the process even when she felt discouraged by others success. She stayed in her lane and grew a community that she is passionate about and loves serving.
In this episode, we also learn about the leap of faith she took to quit her day job and turn her blog into her a full-time job. This is a scary leap for many and I love hearing and sharing peoples experience with it because it doesn’t have to be scary!
So grab yourself a cup of organic tea, get comfy and let’s hear more about Sydney’s journey into the entrepreneurial world and all that she has learned from it. Bonus, she also shares the morning routine that sets her up for success and what her self-love practice is – two things I think are essential to feeling healthy on all levels.
