So often when we want to start something, we are so focused on the destination that miss the journey entirely.
We create goals for ourselves and we race to achieve them as quickly as we can. We want to launch our businesses in 3 months or less, we want to grow our communities as quickly as possible, we want to achieve self-love and set it and forget it.
Now, don’t get me wrong, there definitely are benefits to keeping the end goal in mind and working towards it, but there is so much in the process of getting there that can some times be much more valuable than the end result itself.
The journey you take working towards your goal (whatever it might be) holds so many lessons, so much joy, excitement, self-discovery, and love – because it is something you truly want and are passionate about. And some times, the journey – if you are present and are paying attention will open up a whole new path you didn’t even know could exist or know you wanted even more.
On today’s episode, I am joined by Sarah Davidson, Founder of Spoonful of Sarah, Seize The Yay Podcast and Book and Matcha Maiden where we talk about the benefits of focusing on the journey itself and how the journey can shape who you become.
We chat about her incredible journey from an established career to a windy yet organic journey to creating her multi-businesses. She shares golden nugget pieces of wisdom that she has learned along the way herself and I am sure you will benefit from them as I have.
So grab yourself a cup of organic tea, a notebook and get comfy and ready to learn from a highly successful, truly inspirational and lovely human being.
