Whether you are a service provider or product based business, your client’s experience with your brand is critical to the success you will have. It can result in referrals, high reputation, brand loyalty, and overall client satisfaction OR if overlooked, it can create a negative impact on the success of your business.
I personally worked with and purchased from businesses that wow’d me and not because of an elaborate high luxury experience but because they were intentional, they communicated exceptionally well, and they left a lasting impression that I can remember to this day. This has led to me recommending them to anyone I know – because it was an exceptional experience.
I have also worked with businesses that I was highly excited about but that lacked in the client service department – leaving me hanging for weeks, not providing clarity on what to expect throughout the process and not making me feel valued as a client.
And that will leave a long lasting negative feeling that ensures I will not work with them again – despite how good they are at what they do!
So as good as you may be at something – if you do not back it up with solid brand experience, you won’t experience the level of success you aspire to. Which is why I thought it was an important conversation to have.
