Just keep going.
This can sometimes seem like the impossible. Starting a business is the most exciting and challenging task, and it can push you to your limits wondering if you can overcome whatever it is that is in your path at that moment.
You can’t always foresee outcomes or obstacles and need to be able to pivot or deal with things on a moments notice. And sometimes the obstacles seem so big that there is no way you can keep going.
But this didn’t stop my guest Lindsey Wilson. She had been told that often entrepreneurs quit just before they strike gold – and this fueled her to push through whatever challenges she was experiencing and keep going no matter what.
I am sure this was not an easy thing for her (or anyone) to do. But having a support system around you and focusing your efforts on what is most important is what will help you through it.
There is always a way to figure things out, and even when things are going according to our plan, we may find a way that is actually much better than we had originally planned. So it is so important to stay open to possibilities, pause before reacting and to stay focused on your goals.
One of the challenges that Lindsey experienced was keeping up with the demand. Not having the capital to invest in the needed growth allowed her the time to focus on tuning into her loyal client base.
Taking things slower and not scaling at high speeds even though any business owner would be itching to do allowed her to hone in on what her community wanted and needed and to adapt to it easily. So even though this might have been viewed as a challenge, actually was a huge benefit to her and her business!
Lindsey shares so much more advice including her journey leading up to creating Owl Venice, so grab yourself a cup of organic tea and get comfy and ready to learn from a successful entrepreneur!
