Starting a side hustle is the most exciting, terrifying and educational experience.
There is so much new, so much creativity and fun. But you are also stepping into the unknown, often learning new skills that you never knew.
Often, we feel we need to know everything about something before we dive in. I know I’ve felt that way. Especially being a planner, I try to have it all figured out before starting – but that isn’t the best approach.
If you are going to start a side hustle – just start. Enjoy the process of jumping in head first and learning as you go. You will never know it “all” and there is no way to prepare for everything that may come your way.

This is one of the many things I loved about learning Holly’s story and entrepreneurial journey. She didn’t have it all figured out, and yet, she was able to figure it and out and turn her side hustle into a successful business.
I love how down to earth and real Holly is. It is something that drew me to her and why I’ve continued following her. It’s encouraging to hear that she too has limiting blocks that she navigates. She too sometimes struggles sharing about her business when asked what she does.
But despite this, she pushes through and continues to show up for her community. She has a real drive and motivation that I think we can all learn from.
But ultimately, I love how she set herself up to go full time with her side hustle. You don’t always need to just quit your financially stable job and jump in head first, you can take a different approach.
